super-cool band!! they had a show at roskilde and i missed it! stupid me!!!my greatest regret! there goes my chance to meet lovefoxx. Ironically, i went back straight after The Klaxons show(they both performed on the same day), yeah lucky you klaxons guitarist!, now that u have her...plus i didn't want to spend my night at the train station again (outside..not inside..bad bad experience)....and planning to be fresh the day after for Band Ane's performance!....
as for this band from Sao Paulo, CSS (Cansei De Ser Sexy), i really enjoy their music. fun..fun..fun!at the moment, i cant stop listening to them. latest news, they'll be supporting Gwen Stefani's european tour..oh please, Gwen dont spoil this super-cool band!!! i've read sumwhere that lovefoxx used to be a designer/illustrator..a colab maybe? (so that i can meet u heheheeh..).lovefoxx, ur supercool girl! :)

hmmm ..aku rasa aku dah recycle balik..ke lagu2 john ni..aku kene start carik band/lagu baru. bjork-volta, dah berapa ratus round aku dgr, blonde redhead-23, pun sama, Flunk - personal stereo, stadium arcadium lama aku tak dgr, ok la..maybe aku selalu mainkan wet sand ..sahaja(mungkin kecewa dgn performance diorang kat roskilde, diorang main she's only 18??!!! wtf!!..pemalas!), giardini di miro pun dah byk round, hmmm...apa lagi??!

kerja byk menunggu. rekaniaga dan freelance. again, aku kalah lagi (u know what). kene patah balik, jadi cam dulu balik. sinilah 'releven'nye lagu new dawn fades, "change of speed..change of style..change of scene....a chance to watch admire the distance..". im tired. "..loaded gun wont set you free.." :P.

tak sabar nak gi jakarta. bercuti lagi!! yeahh!!! walaupun tak sama cam gi europe, tapi kali ni aku gi bercuti dgn bao dan husin! (milan tak confirm)..so new experience! :P (shoot, i miss europe, the festivals, kazu makino, bjork..rasa nak pegi lagi thn depan..Reading maybe?..maybe gi italy, jumpa stefano dgn tiziana). life is good!..things can only get better ..hehehehehe

this particular song/clip is some sort of medication for me. to wake up in the morning in a cool house like that, go outside, to smell the refreshing morning air, to have a cabinet (or 2) full of cds...and importantly, doing what u enjoy the most in ur life. i'll be happy :)

i've met him once, back in 2001, and i can tell you, he's a really nice guy. i guess it was once in a lifetime opportunity, to shake hands with him and have a chat with him. a very inspiring figure. thanx

Roskilde Festival 2007

i had a great and not so great time over there :P. hate the weather (ane said last yr wasnt this bad)plus kene pakai but gi pasar pasal mud dia tebal gila. but, i did enjoy all my favourite band's performance (oops..but not RHCP, poor performance!!).overall, it was an amazing festival!!!

Band Ane : very enjoyable show from a very cool girl! highly recommended if u love electronica!

Björk : raise ur flag (higher,higher)..yeah i know the song is joga..tapi aku teringat masa starting lagu declare independence(last song), aku excited gila!!wuuhuuuu!!favourite song aku!!.i love björk!!

Klaxons : one of the reason i wanna go to this festival

RHCP : poor..poor..poor.but they played c'mon girl- my favourite!!..but overall,still not-so-good performance by them..byk sgt solo..drum solo..trumpet solo..hans solo.rock in rio 2001..still the best.

one of my artwork (siamese beauty) got published in an online magazine. go here and download the latest copy (go to zine and IC5). i dunno why, but they did some alteration to it (they cutted-out the word siamese beauty).
anyhow, im still doing the album artwork for fabryka. we (i+fabryka) are all very excited bout this project. im so excited with their new stuff (ive heard some of it, simply amazing!!)..and they like what they've seen so far in the artwork. later on, i have to make another artwork for this italian magazine. too bad, they dun sell the magazine here in Malaysia. wish me luck! :)

most beautiful song. you can smile and cry (simultaneously) when u listen to it. yes, that beautiful. too bad the band has been disbanded. the vocalist is one of my favourite, she has this unique voice, uncomparable (isnt she pretty too?) just like Bjork, Kazu Makino or Karin Dreijer Andersson (no, mariah carey, aguilera, beyonce or rihanna are not in my list :P). im not so sure what was on lou's mind when she wrote the lyrics but she said sumthing to do with an angel..but my interpretation would be..it got to do with our incomplete life..imperfect...sumthing sad..but at the same time we feel content..maybe thats what life is all bout. imperfect. im dedicating this song to someone special out there. u know who u r. be good while im gone :)

my latest artwork. I found this girl from myspace friend's friend. i really admire her beauty so i asked for her permission to use her face for my artwork (its just for fun)..luckily she's ok with it. it was kinda hard coz i was trying to do the 'sequel' of S&M artwork with her face, but her face just too sweet and cute, not mean. then i realized, the S&M theme is not for her. so i have to think of new concept to suit her childish look..
so...heres the end product. its more like worshipping (er...i think its too strong here)...adoring..admiring her beauty..a goddess. oh yeah, she's from thailand in case u wondering why siamese....
there'll be no updates, coz i'll be working/finishing on fabryka's album artwork (the artwork above was for warm up ..hehehe)..and oh yes, maybe later next week i'll post sumthing. my artwork got selected for this european magazine :)...ok..wish me luck....

the artwork above got nothing to do with the lyrics of the song. just that, after i finished the artwork above..it looked like a compilation of junks, metal junks..suddenly i could hear nina's voice inside my head..(the cardigans: Junk of the hearts..Gran Turismo is one of my all time favourite). to be honest, i tried to do a remake of S&M artwork, tried to see it from different angle....but i guess i failed to do so. but my opinion, the final's not so bad, eh?

i have this idea of potraying supermodel as the hardest job out there. we always see them as perfect, pretty, rich, famous, talented (e.g; carla bruni and milla jovovich),smart(some of them..really!)..and they always look happy..(in magazine) and with their arrogant/confident looks on the runway..seems like theyre living a better life compare to others.my artwork speaks otherwise. it potrays the other side of life as a supermodel. ..tortured life!..painful!

this album is available for free download...so i made the casing all by myself... just feel proud for the fact that some people do appreciates my design and wanted it to be on their single's sleeve. before this i did 3-4 unknown local artist (i use 'unknown' term because they are not popular yet..and it was just a demo album)..but for this album, it has the extra special feeling coz i love their music.

was done quite a long time ago.

this series of artworks reflects of whats going on in my life at that time. there was a time when i listen a lot to john frusciante's niandra lades and usually just a t-shirt (yes..a lot!maybe too much..i still listen to it...its a great album!) and its like i can feel that im sharing the same sadness with him..and to see life under the same light...yes, im a weirdo. anyways, i can describe the artwork as how im going to leave all the past behind and look forward to a better future..and to be able to dream and dream and dream...life is beautiful indeed.:)...(just to see his smile...i know one day i can put the same smile on me too.)

i always think that the song human behaviour by bjork describes female's behaviour more rather than male's.(terribly,terribly,terribly moody.....then all of sudden turn happy) :)...dont u think so?
well in this series, i did sumthing graphically that describe how beautiful a girl in a happy mood :) (less moody)
why happy as a girl in a magazine...simply, all the models always looks happy,dont they?..(btw, its a line in one of rhcp's song)

lack of updates eh?..the thing is..i have a lots of artworks that need to be converted to jpeg..but im too busy to do it. in the mean time, u can check some old stuff at myspace(its in the blog section).I'll post as soon as i finish with the work that im doing now.

currently, im working on fabryka's album artwork...i can say its 60% complete. the album will come out this summer...i guess so..(i assure u its gonna be a great album as i said earlier..theyre very talented ).....so as u can see..i cant release the artwork just yet..need to wait for their official release...but soon i'll post the latest work that i did for them..for the release of their single...so keep on checking this place..

In supporting the release of this single, i did sumthing like "web-flyer" or banner for this talented italian band. You can only buy this album online at dharmasound.com. The concept/theme is more like the album artwork, but i did some changes..to show it from "different angle.....under different lights..so we hopefully kind of see it almost for the first time" - maynard james keenan
